Publix Super Markets Latest Updates During Coronavirus Pandemic:
Publix on Thursday affirmed nearby news reports that its GreenWise areas in Mount Pleasant and Lexington, S.C., are planned to close down at 7 p.m. on Aug. 29. Both GreenWise Markets went into activity in 2019, with the 21,500-square-foot Mount Pleasant store opening on May 23 and the 21,400-square-foot Lexington store opening on Dec. 4.
“We have chosen the irksome decision to close both GreenWise Market territories in South Carolina. The two areas were acquisitions that fit our needs at the hour of opening.
